Day One

This week 14 people for FBC Grandview headed to Rocky Comfort, Missouri to assist the Prosperity Baptist Church with some building improvements including a new roof and repairs to the steeple. Making the trip are Robert and Rhonda Hurt, Ricky and Tammy Vanzandt, Bill and Peggy Lyle, Brad Quisenberry, David and Paula Quisenberry, David, Brandt and Leanne Self, and Kenneth and Jerry Pipes. Ben and Bobbie Mosley were unable to make the trip and we really miss them.

Here is the building that will have a new roof before we head back to Texas.

Their church sign greeted us when we drove in!

Inspecting the steeple.

Climbing gear helped get started on the steep roof.

Soon preperation was underway for installing the metal roof system.

This is a picture of the building taken in the fall when the maple trees are in full color.
